A shooting has taken place in Ratmalana railway station area.
Police say a person was injured in the shooting.
The police further said that a group of unknown people who came from a motorcycle and a car had carried out this shooting in the early hours of today (10).
It is said that the people who came called a person out of a house and shot him with a pistol on a side road and ran away.
The injured person has been admitted to Kalubowila Teaching Hospital for treatment.
A 34-year-old resident of Ratmalana was injured.
The Mt. Police is investigating to arrest the absconding suspects.
