Ganemulla Sanjeeva was released after giving a large amount of money to the Nepalese security forces

According to police sources, detention orders under the Prevention of Terrorism Act have been obtained against Sanjeeva Kumar alias Ganemulla Sanjeeva, a drug trafficker and organized crime figure.

He had arrived in Sri Lanka from Kathmandu, Nepal on SriLankan Airlines flight UL 182 using a passport prepared under the false name of Senadhirage Karunarattha, at which time he was arrested by immigration officials at Katunayake airport.

The International Police had also issued red notices to him. The suspect had admitted that he was Ganemulla's Sanjeewa when he was detained and interrogated at length by the immigration officers who were suspicious of him.

The police say that Ganemulla Sanjeeva Thalai was arrested by the Nepalese security forces while fleeing to India through Mannar and was released after paying a large sum of money.

It was revealed that Mr. Ganemulla Sanjeeva had obtained a tourist visa for a period of 30 days in order to leave for Nepal on August 24th, and accordingly, he is allowed to stay in Nepal until the third day of next month. It was revealed that the visa was issued in Colombo. is

It has now been revealed that Ganemulla Sanjeeva, an organized criminal, is involved in more than ten murder cases in this country, including Gampaha Pas Podda.

He has been detained at the North Western Province Crime Division for further investigation.

சேனாதிரகே கருணாரத்த என்ற பொய்யான பெயரில் தயாரிக்கப்பட்ட கடவுச்சீட்டைப் பயன்படுத்தி ஸ்ரீலங்கன் எயார்லைன்ஸ் விமானமான UL 182 இல் நேபாளத்தின் காத்மாண்டுவில் இருந்து இலங்கை வந்திருந்த அவர், அப்போது கட்டுநாயக்க விமான நிலையத்தில் குடிவரவு அதிகாரிகளால் கைது செய்யப்பட்டார்.

சர்வதேச காவல்துறையும் அவருக்கு சிவப்பு நோட்டீஸ் அனுப்பியிருந்தது. சந்தேகமடைந்த குடிவரவு குடியகழ்வு அதிகாரிகள் அவரை தடுத்து வைத்து நீண்ட நேரம் விசாரணை செய்த போது தான் கணேமுல்லைச் சேர்ந்த சஞ்சீவ என சந்தேக நபர் ஒப்புக்கொண்டுள்ளார்.

கணேமுல்ல சஞ்சீவ தலை மன்னார் ஊடாக இந்தியாவுக்குத் தப்பிச் செல்லும் போது நேபாள பாதுகாப்புப் படையினரால் கைது செய்யப்பட்டு பெரும் தொகையை செலுத்தி விடுவிக்கப்பட்டதாக பொலிஸார் தெரிவிக்கின்றனர்.

திரு.கனேமுல்ல சஞ்சீவா ஆகஸ்ட் 24ஆம் தேதி நேபாளத்திற்கு செல்வதற்காக 30 நாட்களுக்கு சுற்றுலா விசா பெற்றுள்ளார் என்பதும், அதன்படி அடுத்த மாதம் மூன்றாம் தேதி வரை நேபாளத்தில் தங்க அனுமதிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளதும் தெரியவந்தது. விசா கொழும்பில் வழங்கப்பட்டது

கனேமுல்ல சஞ்சீவ என்ற ஒழுங்கமைக்கப்பட்ட குற்றவாளியான இவர் கம்பஹா பாஸ் போட்டா உட்பட இந்த நாட்டில் பத்துக்கும் மேற்பட்ட கொலைச் சம்பவங்களுடன் தொடர்புடையவர் என்பது தற்போது தெரியவந்துள்ளது.

மேலதிக விசாரணைகளுக்காக அவர் வடமேல் மாகாண குற்றத்தடுப்பு பிரிவில் தடுத்து வைக்கப்பட்டுள்ளார்.
