Indo-Lanka passenger ferry service resumes operations

The passenger ship that had been operating between Kankesanthurai and Nagai in Tamil Nadu, which had been suspended due to bad weather, resumed its transport operations yesterday (18).

The passenger transport service had been suspended since the 13th due to bad weather.

Since October 2023, the ship Sivagangai, owned by the Subam Company, had been operating this passenger transport service on every day except Saturday.

It is said that 95 people had arrived in the country from Tamil Nadu on the 13th and 108 had gone to Tamil Nadu from Kankesanthurai.
