The Mattakkuliya Police have arrested 9 suspects wanted for murder.
This is in connection with the investigations conducted by the Mattakkuliya Police regarding the crime of murdering a person by attacking him with sharp weapons in the Gemunupura area, Mattakkuliya on the night of March 31st.
Accordingly, the police say that the Mattakkuliya Police have arrested 9 suspects wanted for the crime in the Gemunupura area, Mattakkuliya yesterday (02).
The police also said that the suspects are residents of the Mattakkuliya area, aged between 19 and 40 years.
The suspects are scheduled to be produced before the Aluthkade Magistrate's Court today (03) and the Mattakkuliya Police are conducting further investigations.
