Sri Lanka Cricket won the three-match Twenty20 series between the visiting Sri Lankan team and Zimbabwe 2-1.

The third and final match was won by 8 wickets.

Sri Lanka won the toss and elected to bat first.

Zimbabwe, who elected to bat first, scored 191 runs for the loss of 8 wickets in their allotted 20 overs.

Tadiwanashe Marumani scored 51 runs for Zimbabwe.

Sikandar Raza scored 28 runs and Ryan Burl scored 26 runs.

Sean Williams scored only 23 runs.

No other player managed to cross the 20-run mark.

Dushan Hemantha took three wickets and Dushmantha Chameera took two wickets for Sri Lanka.

Matheesha Pathinarana and Binura Fernando took one wicket each.

Chasing a target of 192 runs, Sri Lanka scored 193 runs for the loss of only two wickets in 17.4 overs.

In the batting, openers Pathum Nissanka scored 33 runs and Kusal Mendis scored 30 runs for Sri Lanka.

Kamil Mishara, who batted unbeaten, scored 73 runs and Kusal Janith Perera scored 46 runs.
