Former Minister Mahinda Wijesekera has passed away.

Mr. Wijesekera passed away after being ill for a long time after being injured in a bomb attack in the Godapitiya area of ​​Matara during the LTTE.
Mr. Mahinda Wijesekera held the post of Minister of Posts and Telecommunications in 2008 and held the post of Minister of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources between 2001 and 2004.
